The Rayya's Children starts with a Potter's Cutter, which makes them initially rely on a lot of clay. As Rayya's Children live in hot, relatively desolate parts of the world, lumber is in short supply, and large portions of the items and constructions by Rayya's Children artisans are made of clay and porcelain. Ive only seen the trailer 3 weeks late but according to the Yogscast who wanted to invest in the project, they were told something along the line of 'we dont need any more investors'. Rayya's Children playstyle involves larger crafting focused towns.
